With over thirty years of corporate experience and over 14 as a coach, my criteria and expectations for service are very high - few meet the bar. I must say that White Wolf not only met my expectations but also exceeding them by a mile. From my first call with Jamie, to getting an estimate from Robert (her husband and owner) to the crew showing up and doing a meticulous job - everything was perfect. Dealing with a collapsed cesspool is scary and overwhelming. As soon as I sent a photo of our sinkhole, Robert said, "it's a cesspool collapse, dangerous" and he showed up to put caution tape all around. That was BEFORE the estimate. That level of caring was continuing with every step of the BIG DIG of our front lawn. There was a chance that our stairs and column would collapse. Robert and Jimmy (co-owner) prepared us for every possibility. They were careful to not cause anymore damage or future expenses and saved the steps. Crew members were equally attentive - they moved our plants, saved the bricks from the walkways and left the front lawn and driveway in great condition. Here's the thing: As soon as I posted photos of the sinkhole, I was approached by multiple companies - some spent more time scaring us into action. We selected White Wolf because the previous owner had the company empty the pool, but also, because I rarely come across any business that has 650 5-star reviews - nothing lower! It turns out, that as we spoke to friends and neighbors, all we heard was "Oh yes, White Wolf did our cesspool, they were amazing." I am taking the time to share this because, as a small business expert, I know how unique companies like White Wolf are. They were extremely thorough in explaining he process . They had very little space to work with and ALOT of things that could have broken. Driveway, walkway etc. they took their time and were super skillful. The only real casualty were a couple of sprinkler lines but there was no way to avoid that: super professional would still highly recommend My cesspool was backing up and I needed it drained. They came on time with a big crew of friendly and professional guys. unfortunately getting to a cesspool requires destroying part of your lawn but they did so with as little collateral damage as possible and restored it quite well after. Their contract included the following disclaimer: “We will work with the utmost respect for your property…” and they truly kept their promise. We received quotes from three vendors. Although the other two were cheaper (small difference), one of them openly stated: “Remove and dispose of a section of the walkway… the light post in the front yard will be removed during installation. Replacement of said light post by others.” Replacing both the walkway and light post would have been far more expensive and time consuming. I’ve included a picture showing part of the walkway, where White Wolf had to pass the pipes underneath without breaking it, which was no easy task. The picture also shows the light post, lit up, which they intentionally preserved to ensure they didn’t damage the cables running to it. One of their employees even dug that section manually to avoid breaking anything, despite having machines that could have done the job much faster. Lastly, three months later, heavy rain caused a hole to form beneath the walkway, where some of the pipes were laid. After we called them, they returned the very next day and filled the hole. Thanks very much. 8/28/2019 (first review)-Our home in Smithtown was purchased in 2001 with septic and overflow tank access pipes having 6 inch diameters. This was totally undersized for an 8 foot diameter tank, and should never have been allowed. There was virtually no solid waste removal from our tanks in 40 years of "pump service" by 3 previous companies, as their tools couldn't possibly reach the entire tank bottom during "pumpout". All they ever really got out was the water! The new access pipes for both tanks are now 24 inches in diameter with large manhole covers to allow easy access to the entire tank bottom during future service. You should have seen what came out of them! We now look forward to no more flooded basements, and actual tank cleanouts in the future, thanks to the honest, prompt, smart, hard-working guys at "White Wolf Cesspools". Jim, Andrew, Tommy and Javier were truly AMAZING, and a pleasure to do business with!
